Over the past two years, the firm has made electronic trading a top priority, investing heavily in their technology and leadership to build out this capability from the ground up.

Specifically, we're working with the investment banking division, which is actively seeking an Equity Quant Trader. Over the past two years, the firm has made electronic trading a top priority, investing heavily in their technology and leadership to build out this capability from the ground up.
This role offers a rare greenfield opportunity - unlike many E-Trading teams operating on legacy platforms, this group is building a modern, scalable infrastructure from scratch. This role will report directly to the Head of Electronic Trading and play a key role in the quantitative research and development of trading analytics. It's an ideal position for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, that is eager to shape the foundation of a next-generation trading platform and gain meaningful experience in a high-impact, build-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct market microstructure research in order to optimize algorithmic/order routing logic
• Utilize/work with tick data & order book data to develop trading signals
• Conduct transaction cost analysis
• Work collaboratively with cross functional teams in a fast-paced trading environment
Requirements/Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with statistical models, time series analysis, transaction cost analysis & machine learning
• Must have at least a Master's degree in a STEM subject
• Preferred the individual has familiarity with equity trading but will consider exposure in other assert classes
• Python and KDB/Q is preferred (will consider candidates with C++/Java proficiency but KDB/Q is a must)
• Exposure to AWS cloud solutions for data analysis and management (this is preferred but not required)
